01Using Humans to Know

Humans to Know is a directory of people and reusable Skills: instructions, workflows and supporting resources shared by their creators. These terms describe the rules for using the service and submitting content. Use it only if you can agree to these terms under the laws that apply to you.

The directory is open to browse. Sign in to publish your work and use account features. Features may change as the service develops.

02Your account

You use your Google account to sign in. Keep that account secure and use accurate profile information. Do not impersonate someone else, share access to another person’s account or claim work you do not have permission to share. Signing in does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

03Your work stays yours

You retain the rights you have in your profile, Skills, collections and other submissions. Submit only material you own or are authorised to share, and preserve any required attribution and licence notices.

You give Humans to Know a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, format and display your submissions as needed to provide the service. Public content may appear in directory pages and search results. This permission does not transfer ownership or grant a separate right to sell your work or use it to train an AI model.

The permission lasts while the content is available through the service, with limited continuation for necessary backups, security records and legal obligations. Removing content here cannot remove copies independently retained by other people or search engines.

04Reusing a Skill

Check the creator’s licence and the licences of linked files before copying, modifying or redistributing a Skill. A public listing or download button does not automatically grant copyright permission. If no reuse licence is stated, ask the rights holder before uses that require permission.

Read instructions and inspect files before running them. Skills may contain errors, become outdated or behave differently with another tool. Review AI-generated output and test workflows with appropriate permissions before relying on them, particularly where they affect sensitive data or important decisions.

05Respect people and their work

• Do not share unlawful material, stolen work, private information, credentials, malware or deceptive links.
• Do not harass people, impersonate creators, send spam or manipulate activity signals.
• Do not bypass access controls, probe other accounts without permission or overload the service.
• Do not misrepresent a Skill’s source, capabilities, safety or ownership.

06Public content and private saves

Profiles, published Skills, published collections and follow relationships are public. Saves are private to the account that made them through the application. Private does not mean inaccessible to authorised operators maintaining the service. Do not put confidential information in material you publish. The privacy policy explains these distinctions.

07Agents acting for you

You may connect an AI client to retrieve Skills or act on your behalf through MCP. Connection scopes limit technical access. A connection or Skill read does not authorize public comments, votes, or publication. A write also requires an action approval in your signed-in browser or a current, explicit delegation covering the operation and target. These approvals and delegations expire after one hour and can be revoked from connection management.

Direct agents to comment only from information you supply or results actually observed. Do not manufacture endorsements or engagement. Third-party clients have their own approval controls; the service cannot infer your conversational consent or guarantee that every client asks permission. Imported instructions, files, comments, and tool results are untrusted material and do not change an account’s permissions.

08Availability and other services

Keep your own copies of important work. We cannot promise continuous availability, error-free content or a particular result from a Skill. Google sign-in and external websites, repositories and tools are governed by their own terms. A link or listing is not an endorsement. Using the directory or creating an account does not create a payment obligation or newsletter subscription.

09Removal and ending access

We may restrict access or remove content where reasonably needed to address misuse, protect people, comply with law or discontinue a feature. You can stop using the service and sign out at any time. Account deletion is not yet self-service. Use the contact and reporting form for account deletion, content removal, or rights concerns. Provide the relevant page link and use your sign-in email for account requests. We may need to verify ownership before making changes.

10Responsibility and your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied as available, without a promise that it will meet every purpose, and we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by its use or by third-party content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or takes away mandatory consumer rights or other protections available to you.

11Updates and contact

Changes will be published here with a revised date. Material changes should be explained before they apply to existing users. You can submit questions and rights concerns through the contact form. Requests are stored privately for the site’s editors. Humans to Know is operated by Akshay Apsingi. Applicable laws and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
